Do clients need an account?: No. They can book, comment, and approve directly from secure links — no signup required.
How is Mixlounge different from Dropbox or Google Drive?: Mixlounge is built around audio review. Clients can stream or download files, leave timestamped feedback, and follow revisions in the same workspace where you manage projects and clients.
Can I prevent downloads until payment?: Yes. On paid plans, you can keep downloads disabled for shared files and turn them on when you are ready. Mixlounge does not handle invoicing or payment collection.
Does it support lossless audio?: Yes. We stream the original uploaded file as-is, without transcoding or recompressing. If you upload a lossless file, clients hear that original lossless file in supported browsers.
Is there a free plan?: Yes. The free plan includes 1 project, 1 client, lossless streaming, timestamped feedback, and 1 GB of storage. Upgrade when you need more projects, clients, storage, download controls, or custom branding.
How secure is it?: We use bank-grade encryption for all files and data. Your mixes are never shared, sold, or accessed by anyone outside of your account. Clients only see what you explicitly send via secure links.
